Detained executives of Pharmally Pharmaceutical Corp. are set to be released on June 3, Senate President Vicente Sotto III said.
This was Sotto’s response when asked when Linconn Ong and Mohit Dargani will be freed from Senate custody.
The two are detained at the Pasay City jail after they were cited in contempt during the Senate Blue Ribbon committee hearings on the government’s use of its COVID-19 funds.
Ong has been under Senate custody since September 21, 2021 while Dargani was arrested on November 14, 2021 as he tried to escape the country via a chartered plane in Davao City.
