Frontliners: SMNI’s ‘Deep Probe’ gives presidential aspirants the edge

THE Frontliners Ang Bida Partylist #111 believes that the “Deep Probe” show organized by the Sonshine Media Network International (SMNI) gave all the aspiring presidential candidates the edge on May 9 national election.

After the successful presidential and senatorial debates last month, the SMNI under its main producer Arnold Vegafria organized last Saturday the Deep Probe presidential candidates’ interview at the Okada Manila Resort Hotel in Parañaque City that garnered millions of views worldwide.

Presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. (third from left) joins SMNI President Marlon Rosete, Frontliners Ang Bida Partylist first nominee Jayke Joson, and SMNI Presidential debate producer Arnold Vegafria after the successful SMNI Deep Probe last Saturday at the Okada Manila Hotel in Parañaque City.

“It’s a great avenue where the people discovered how these presidentiables would perform once they are elected,” Frontliners Ang Bida Partylist first nominee Jayke Joson said. “The people were so enlightened by the answers of our presidentiables about the current local and global issues.”

The panelists — who interviewed live presidential candidates Leody de Guzman, Ernesto Abella, Norberto Gonzales, Dr. Jose Montemayor Jr., and Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. — were UP Political Science Professor Clarita Carlos, newspaper owner Dante “Klink” Ang II, lawyer Rolex Suplico, and professor Sass Rogando Sasot.

Questions regarding national and international issues like military defenses, treaties, BARMM, energy solutions, education, constitutional amendments, economics and health issues, among others, were straightforward delivered to aspiring presidentiables for almost seven hours of healthy discussions.

“To all those who attended, it really helped them to present their respective platforms to the people. It’s a big help for their candidacy while for those who did not, I do not know,” Joson added. “The candidates will surely give them the winning edge.”

The former actor and producer said they attended the SMNI’s Deep Probe to find out how the candidates would react on certain issues and how they would put solutions to those problems that affect the country especially the frontliners.

“Our very own frontliners need to see those candidates, we really need to see if our frontliners are part of their platforms,” Joson said, whose party-list is supported by the PDP-Laban of President Rodrigo Duterte who celebrated his 77th birthday on Monday.

He is hoping the next president will sustain what the Duterte administration is doing in providing help to the police, soldiers, nurses, medical staff, doctors, barangay workers, food delivery boys, and other frontliners.

The Frontliners Ang Bida Partylist is praying for a double hazard pay, tax-free allowance, free insurance policies for all frontliners and the abolishment of the no pay, no work policy for the sick frontliners.

Frontliners is one of the 178 party-list candidates that will vie for a potential 63 seats in the House of Representatives.
