Gov. Suarez says BBM will win by 400k in Quezon

A margin of victory of around 400,000 votes is in the offing for the UniTeam tandem of former senator Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and his running mate Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte in the Quezon province this May.

Quezon Gov. Danilo Suarez made the assessment after he witnessed the UniTeam mini-rally attended by at least 12,000.people inside and outside the Tiaong Convention Center.

“I can see his sincerity. He wants to do something, maybe go back to the glory of his father,” Suarez, who introduced Marcos in the event, in a chance interview following the successful rally.

With this, the governor and former House Minority Leader confidently said that Quezon will carry both Marcos and Duterte to victory on May 9.

“Siguro mga 300,000 to 400,000 kayang ilamang ni BBM, Bongbong-Sara. Malaki, malaki. I assure you this will be an unprecedented election. (I believe a 300,000 to 400,000 margin of victory is achievable for BBM-Sara tandem.  assure you this will be an unprecedented election),” Suarez said.

Marcos, standard-bearer of the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP); and Duterte, chairperson of Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (CMD) received the two loudest cheers during their respective introductions.

Another huge crowd greeted Marcos and Duterte during the UniTeam grand rally at Quezon Convention Center in Lucena City.

Organizers estimated that at least 20,000 supporters have attended the event, including people who patiently assembled outside the venue.

Thousands of enthusiastic overseas Filipino workers worldwide expressed their support for the BBM-Sara UniTeam, reports said In Tokyo, Japan, thousands of Filipinos marched along major thoroughfares while chanting the name of Marcos and Duterte.

Reports indicate that hundreds of BBM-Sara UniTeam supporters gathered in one of the most popular promenades in Rome while another group of OFWs assembled in Milan, both in Italy, to express their support for the tandem.

Both events went viral on Facebook.

In London, OFWs gathered in front of the London Bridge while dancing and prancing to the tune of “Bagong Lipunan.”
