Police seized P1.3 million worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation Wednesday night in Muntinlupa City.
The operation also resulted in the arrest of four suspected drug dealers identified as Glenn De Guzman, 38; Mayline Rodolfo, 41; Anthony Pasion, 39, and Christopher Bayangos, 20.
Southern Police District director P/Brig. Gen. Jimili Macaraeg said his men from the Muntinlupa City Police Station – Drug Enforcement Unit led by P/Maj. Peter Aquino conducted the operation around 9:40 p.m. at Garcip Compound in Barangay Cupang.
Confiscated from the suspects were 200 grams of shabu, one brown sling bag, and the P4,000 buy-bust money.
The seized drugs will be turned over to SPD Forensic Unit for chemical analysis while charges are being prepared against the suspects for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Art 2 of Republic Act 9165.
The suspects are all detained at the Muntinlupa Custodial Facility.
Macaraeg commended the SDEU team for a job well and acknowledged the cooperation, alertness, and vigilance of the people in the community.
He assured that the anti-drug operation will continue in line with the directives and guidance of the Philippine National Police.
