AIA Philippines, the country’s premier life insurance company, committed a P10 million donation to The Medical City (TMC) in support of a two-year program which aims to give underserved and indigent individuals access to cancer screening and basic treatment facilities for free.

Through this program, AIA Philippines brings to life its purpose of helping more Filipinos live healthier, longer, better lives.

The program will be operationalized by a mobile diagnostic clinic fitted with state-of-the-art digital mammography and ultrasound equipment, primarily for breast cancer screening, and will also serve as a diagnostic clinic for other types of cancer.

The mobile clinic will be used to conduct cancer education, screening, and diagnosis, as well as offer supplies and medicines to diagnosed patients in targeted local government units, to be piloted in Pasig City and San Juan City.

The exclusive partnership with TMC will accommodate over a thousand procedures free of charge, including the use of the digital mammogram machine, histopathologic (biopsies) and surgical procedures to diagnosed patients.
