The P3.3 billion Binondo-Intramuros Bridge Project will be open to traffic by April this year as the mega project is already 92 percent completed, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) said.

Public Works Roger Mercado  said that works at the Binondo Intramuros Bridge Project are progressing well and on track for the planned opening this 2022 Holy Week.

“At 92 percent, we are rushing to finish the newest landmark in Manila with its iconic basket-handle tied steel arch”, according to DPWH – Unified Project Management Office (UPMO) Operations Undersecretary Emil K. Sadain.

Completing the up and down ramps at Binondo and Intramuros has been a priority.

The ramps at Binondo side are located at Muelle dela Industria Street for up-ramp and at Rentas Street and Plaza del Conde Street for down-ramp.
