Malapitan roster leads Caloocan poll

Team Malapitan once again took the lead in Caloocan’s new third congressional district, based on the latest survey.

Incumbent Councilor Dean Asistio got 68 percent in the last survey conducted by RP-Mission and Development Foundation Inc., way ahead of his opponent, former Mayor Recom Echiverri who got 27%.

Asistio, who is on his third term as city councilor, is Team Malapitan’s candidate to be the first representative of the Third District to Congress.

Asistio also led Echiverri by almost double in the survey conducted by Actual and Comprehensive Evaluators, Inc, with 63% against the latter’s 33%.

In the same survey, incumbent Mayor Oca Malapitan was Number 1 for 1st District congressman, with a double-digit advantage over Councilor Alou Nubla.

Incumbent Vice Mayor Maca Asistio is also leading the survey for the 2nd District Congress seat.

In the mayoralty race, incumbent 1st District Rep. Dale Along Malapitan scored 65 percent in the RP survey against 2nd District Rep. Egay Erice, who got 32 percent.

Dale Malapitan’s running mate, Councilor Karina The, got 60 percent against her opponent, Councilor PJ Malonzo, with 32 percent.
