At least 150 people killed in SW China quake: state media

At least 150 people were killed after a strong earthquake hit southwest China's mountainous Yunnan province Sunday, state media said.

"At least 150 people were killed," Xinhua said. The quake hit at 4:30 pm (0830 GMT) at a depth of 12 kilometres (7.5 miles) in the province's northeast, with more than 1,300 injured, according to other state media.
