Duterte’s backers to hold 2-day event at Luneta

Supporters of President Rodrigo Duterte will hold series of activities in Luneta for two days this weekend.

The program will begin on Saturday evening with a prayer vigil and a rock concert.

The event will continue until Sunday.

Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Undersecretary Epimaco Densing says, the activities are meant to show support for the Duterte administration’s campaign against illegal drugs, poverty and corruption.

Densing expects, the crowd may number from 100,000 to one million.

He adds, Duterte's supporters from Visayas and Mindanao are arriving for the event.
