Duterte signs order giving gratuity pay to state contract workers

President Rodrigo Duterte has signed Administrative Order number two which gives gratuity pay for government contract workers and persons who perform job orders for the state.

Under the order, contract workers who have worked in government agencies for over four months will receive a gratuity pay worth P 2,000.

Those who have worked for government for less than four months will get P 1,000.

The order covers contractual workers in government-owned-and controlled corporations (GOCCs) and state universities and colleges (SUCs).
