Navotas fire victims seek shelter at barangay covered court

About 1,200 squatter families were dislocated by fire that hit Barangay North Bay Boulevard in Navotas City early Tuesday morning.

The blaze that destroyed their makeshift houses reached Task Force Charlie until it was declared under control at 6:24 am.

Market 3 of Navotas fishport was also burned. 

Affected families currently stay at the barangay covered court.

Most of them were unable to save their belongings.

At least 600 houses were destroyed and damage to property was estimated at about P 750,000.
