Duterte off to Cambodia and Singapore this month

President Rodrigo Duterte is leaving for Cambodia and Singapore this December.

He will go on a two-day state visit to Cambodia on December 13 and 14.

Foreign Affairs Spokesperson Charles Jose says, the President will hold a bilateral meeting with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen.

Then, Duterte is off to Singapore on December 15 and 16.

Jose notes, these travels are the President’s last foreign trips for this year.

He adds, the President is introducing himself to the heads of state of Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) members.

The two countries where Duterte has yet to go on state visits are Thailand and Myanmar.

He went to Thailand for a few hours on November 9, 2016 to condole with the Thais for the death of King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
