Government troops have killed a fugitive who had been a suspect in a series of bombing incidents in Central Mindanao.

The military has identified the person as Muhammad Nur Hassan.

He reportedly resisted arrest and was holding a grenade when troops tried to take custody of him in an operation in Matalam, North Cotabato.
