Albuera, Leyte Vice Mayor Rosa Meneses has taken her oath as the town’s new chief executive.
Leyte Governor Leopoldo Petilla administered the oath for her.
Meneses says, the campaign against illegal drugs will be her priority as she begins her term as mayor.
Her oath-taking comes, following the death of Mayor Rolando Espinosa Sr. last Saturday while in detention in Leyte Sub-Provincial Jail in Baybay City.
