Comelec to resume voters’ registration

Voters’ registration will resume two weeks from now.

Comelec Spokesperson James Jimenez announces, the registration period will be conducted from November 7, 2016 (Monday) until April 29, 2017.

The poll body expects the total number of registered voters to rise by one million from the current 54 million, by the time the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) and Barangay elections are held next year.

Comelec offices will be open even on Saturdays and during holidays, except on December 25 and 25, 2016 and on April 13 and 14, 2017.
