LPA affects Eastern Visayas and CARAGA

A Low Pressure Area (LPA) has been located 715 kilometers east of Catarman, Northern Samar.

This will bring moderate to heavy rains over Eastern Visayas and CARAGA region.

CARAGA includes the provinces of Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte and Surigao del Sur.

PAGASA expects the LPA to develop into a tropical depression on Thursday and it will be named ‘Karen.’

The tropical depression might make landfall in Central Luzon during the weekend.

The weather bureau says, Metro Manila may experience rainy days on Monday and Tuesday.
