Duterte visits Army camp in Isabela

President Rodrigo Duterte is visiting the Philippine Army’s Fifth Infantry Division in Camp Melchor Dela Cruz in Gamu, Isabela.

This is the second military camp that he visited this month as Commander in Chief.

Camp Melchor Dela Cruz is the Army’s primary infantry unit in Northern Luzon and it is at the forefront of the anti-guerilla warfare.

Duterte is holding an executive briefing with military officials.

On Saturday afternoon, he is expected to speak before the soldiers at the camp’s gymnasium.
