The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has seized from a boat passenger some 20 pieces of .45 caliber pistols.

PCG Spokesperson Armand Balilo reports, a certain Celso Manleon was bringing these handguns in boxes to Talavera, Nueva Ecija when the items were discovered and seized in the port of Masbate at about 9 am on Wednesday.

The passenger came from Cebu City.
