ASG claims responsibility for Davao blast

The Abu Sayyaf (ASG) claims responsibility for the blast that killed at least 12 persons on Friday night in Davao City’s market.

ASG Spokesman Abu Rami made the claim.

The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Spokesperson Restituto Padilla says, it is still verifying if the bandit group is behind the attack.

Meanwhile, PNP Chief Ronald dela Rosa has placed all police stations across the country on full alert.

In Metro Manila, motorists are experiencing traffic congestion along the roads leading to NAIA Terminal 2.

This comes, as security in the airport is tightened following blast in Davao City.
