The lawyer of Albuera, Mayor Rolando Espinosa was shot dead at about 2 pm on Tuesday near a mall in Tacloban City.
The victim was Atty. Rogelio Bato Jr.
A grade 9 student, identified as Angelica, was in the same vehicle as Bato and she was also killed.
Police have yet to identiy the gunmen and their motive.
Bato was handling the case of Espinosa.

Last August 15, he filed a motion in court seeking to stop the issuance of a warrant of arrest against the mayor.
