Dela Rosa: 34-inch waistline is hard for cops

PNP Chief Ronald dela Rosa is leading a physical fitness program at the PNP Headquarters in Camp Crame, Quezon City.

He says, it is difficult for some policemen to reach and maintain a 34-inch waistline so he will be content if they can just use the Body Mass Index (BMI) as health guide.

Dela Rosa says, “ayaw naman natin silang mamatay sa pagre-reduce (we don’t want them to die trying to lose weight).”

He adds, it is important for cops to be fit especially now that the Philippine National Police has an ongoing war against crime.

BMI measures a person’s weight and height while taking his or her age into consideration.
