The third round of the ENEOS Super Sprint Series, presented in collaboration with Okada’s Motorsport Carnivale, recently concluded with a successful turn out of 127 participating drivers and drew hundreds of spectators for a day focused on setting the best time around a predetermined race course – showcasing some of the best in local motorsport.
Motorsport Carnivale, an initiative co-founded by AAP Motorsport Director Rikki Dy-Liacco and Councilor Jomari Yllana, supports the local motorsport community with the stated goal of nurturing talent and increasing public engagement with the sport. The partnership with the ENEOS Super Sprint Series is noted for its alignment with grassroots-level competition.
Beyond the competitive aspect, the gathering served as a platform for community interaction among participants and fans, highlighting various types of vehicles ranging from street-legal cars to more extensively prepared machines. The event integrated elements of a festival, contributing to the overall atmosphere at the Okada Manila venue.
Competition results for Round 3 included Santi Sarsoza posting the Overall Best Time in the Street Class. Jorge Rafael Luis Briones achieved the Overall Best Time for both the Amateur and Intermediate Driver categories. Jaymie Lou Lanzuela recorded the Overall Best Time in the Ladies Class. Gen Colina secured both the Best Time of the Day and the Overall Best Time across the Prepped and Pro Classes.
The ENEOS Super Sprint Series is scheduled to continue with its fourth round on June 1.
