‘The Silver Arrows’ has announced the upcoming Philippine premiere of two plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs), describing the launch as the start of a “bold new era of sustainable luxury” for the brand locally. The new additions are the Mercedes-Benz GLC 350e 4MATIC PHEV sport utility vehicle and the Mercedes-Benz E-Class E350e PHEV sedan.
This introduction builds on the company’s existing range of electric vehicles in the local market: the EQA, EQB, EQE sedan, EQE SUV, EQS sedan, and EQS SUV. These new PHEV launches are also set to showcase MB’s new electrification innovations blended with their signature touch of luxury and performance; emphasizing on how vehicle electrification drives CO₂ emissions lower en route to a more sustainable urban environment, the launch is positioned as a “pivotal step” towards the future without compromising the luxury and innovation associated with the brand.
