Inchcape Philippines, the official distributor of Changan, is set to electrify the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) this April, unveiling a groundbreaking lineup of electric vehicles that signal further the dawn of a sustainable automotive era in the country – happening at the World Trade Center in Pasay City from April 10-13, 2025.
Currently offering seven models powered by internal combustion engines, Changan is set to expand its portfolio to include four electrified models, showcasing three distinct new vehicle energy technologies: Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV), Range Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV), and Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV). Three of the four upcoming electrified models will feature the Changan 101 logo, representing the brand’s mid-range electric vehicle line. Positioned as “Digital Intelligence Evolution New Vehicles,” these models symbolize Changan’s transformation into the era of digital intelligence, offering simple, friendly, intelligent, and futuristic automotive products.
The Changan 101 logo, integrating the “square” and “circle” from oriental philosophy, embodies inclusivity, natural beauty, numerical intelligence, and technology. The binary digits “0” and “1” further emphasize constant evolution and endless innovation, reflecting Changan’s core values of people-centricity, innovation, openness, and inclusiveness.
