Bobby Ray Parks Jr. played limited minutes, but he made his contributions count as he helped the Nagoya Diamond Dragons bounce back with a 100-90 triumph  over Gunma on Sunday in the 2021-22 B.League season at Ota City Athletic Park Citizen’s Gymnasium.

The Filipino import, who made only 10 points in the first half, came  off the bench in the third period and sank a putback in the seven-minute mark, handing the Diamond Dragons a comfortable 16-point cushion, 60-46.

This made up for Parks' Saturday performance of scoring only eight points during Nagoya’s 92-101 setback to Gunma.

Coty Clarke banged in 19 points for the Diamond Dragons, who moved to a share of fifth spot.

The Diamond Dragons share the same position in the West Division with Kiefer Ravena’s Shiga Lakestars and Matthew Aquino’s Shinshu Brave Warriors with their 6-5 win-loss record.

Parks and his Nagoya team will clash with  Hiroshima on Wednesday.

Earlier, East Division leader Chiba Jets brought down the Shiga Lakestars for the second time this weekend in a 89-83 win.

Christopher Smith hit 26 points for the Jets, who posted their eighth win in 11 matches to stay in charge of the East Division.

Ravena struck for 27 points for the Lakestars.
