Caloocan now welcomes all persons aged 18 and older who want to be vaccinated against COVID-19, even residents from nearby cities or areas.

Those who want to get vaccinated can go to any of the open vaccination sites, the city government said over the weekend, only needing a valid ID.

According to Mayor Oscar "Oca" Malapitan, this is “the unity of the City Government that they wanted, the goal of more people being vaccinated as part of the fight against the pandemic.”

"Our vaccination sites are open to all citizens who want protection. Together, we will work together to further accelerate our suppression of COVID-19," the mayor said.

According to the Caloocan Health Department, as of October 21, 1,632,337 vaccines were injected in the city, 901,381 used in the first dose while 731,066 used in the second dose.
