Music artist Zack Tabudlo expressed his excitement as his single “Binibini” was featured in one of the much-anticipated segments in Binibining Pilipinas 2021.
On his Twitter and Instagram account, the singer shared a recorded moment when his single was played during the pageant’s evening gown competition.
“Such an honor to be part of this. Good luck beautiful binibinis,” he said in the caption.
The track “Binibini” was released in March and has dominated several streaming sites such as Spotify apart from landing on different charts locally and internationally.
In addition, it also gained support from the social media platform TikTok as numerous videos were made accompanied by the song.
“Binibini” gained traction on YouTube amassing more than 49 million views in just a span of three months.
Even the live performances of the single captured the hearts of the audience as the live duet of Tabudlo with Darren Espanto gained up to 3 million views on the same streaming platform.
The song had an English version by international singer-songwriter James Taylor-Watts or known as James TW. This new version had its official lyric video on Tabudlo’s YouTube account premiered on June 11 and already covered up to 1 million streams.
According to the young artist, “Binibini” was a song about two individuals who have mutual feelings for each other but patiently wait for the “right moment” to express their emotions.
