Newly crowned Mrs. Philippines Cavite 2021 Leslie Ann Uy-Salamat, wife of Alfonso Mayor Randy Salamat, joins the Mrs. Philippines International 2021 search for the country’s representative in Mrs. International pageant in Singapore.
Mrs. Philippines International 2021 will have close to thirty candidates who are accomplished and empowered married women and mothers eyeing the 15 titles at stake at the finals happening in April 2021.
Salamat, an environmentalist and an advocate for the welfare of women and children, is working on an educational program to help poor youth in Alfonso and continues to support activities in boosting local tourism in Cavite.
“I joined the Mrs. Philippines International pageant so I could share whatever platform I have with the Alfonseños, my constituents and to further promote the tourist attractions in Cavite,” Salamat said.
“I’m so overwhelmed. It’s my first time to join a beauty pageant. I want to thank everyone of you for your support, I already feel like a winner,” Salamat added.
A food enthusiast, Salamat completed a degree in HRIM Culinary Arts at the De La Salle College of St. Benilde. She was introduced to the business and marketing industry at a very young age, managing in their family businesses. She conceptualized Beanleaf Coffee and tea which has grown to 43 branches around the country and supervises the Ciriacos Food Park in Alfonso, Cavite.
Reigning Mrs. Philippines International 2019 Michelle Vitug Encarnacion and Mrs. Philippines Elite International/Mrs. Philippines Face of Beauty International 2019 Riza Oben Dormiendo graced the launching of Salamat’s candidacy and gave her advice on what to expect and do during the competition.
Mrs. Philippines International pageant is presented by Star Shining productions, headed by Maan Cueto Aris and Aries Concepcion.

Jessica ‘Jessie’ Maloles, a businesswoman-restaurateur-model and former Mrs. Asia International 2014 Runner-up, was named Top Model of the Season (Mature Model) at the digital awards ceremony of FLAME International Fashion and Art Festival (FIFAP) 2021, a virtual fashion event held in London UK, from Feb. 25 to 27.
Jessie, who was one of the featured models at the Brooklyn Fashion Week in October 2020, was nominated at the FLAME/FIFA competition by a friend who sent her photos and catwalk videos.
A Davaoeña mother of five, Jessie, was part of a winning Philippine team that included John Guarnes, who won Mister Art 2021, Best FLAME Designer and Best Talk Show Host; Bench Bello who won Best Creative Director, Best Talk Show Host and Best Designer; Mariel Prion, Flame Top Model 2021 adult category; Rose Tolentino, Philanthropist of the Year; and Elisa Sonza who was named Businesswoman of the year.
Flame – International Fashion and Art Festival (FIFAP) 2021, organized by Yana Flame, is a unique project that aims to create a platform to promote networking and collaboration between talented people from around the globe by giving them great exposure to the world market and an opportunity to meet with influential people from the fashion and art industry.
