When it comes to bags, leather is king. Premium leather that is.

Scandi-style leather accessories

Danish shoe manufacturer Ecco highlights its collection of bags and accessories featuring durable and high quality leather from its own tanneries, and designed by progressive designers.

Minimalist, Scandinavian aesthetic shines in Ecco’s range of leather bags and accessories, including the Casper Backpack and (inset) the Casper Tote.
Its Open Circle Lab is composed of progressive designers and brands quietly invited to imagine the unimaginable and to challenge its tanning technicians to create leathers that designers once could only dream about.

Bags for ladies include backpacks, totes, and work bags made to effortlessly carry everyday essentials. Relaxed and refined, each piece showcases a minimalist Scandinavian aesthetic.

Must-have pieces for men include wallets, belts, and messenger and laptop bags. Contemporary casual belts and wallets in the line-up are generously sized with multiple compartments.

Ecco’s stores are at SM Megamall and SM Mall of Asia, while shop-in-shop concepts are located at SM Store Mall of Asia, SM Store Makati, SM Store North Edsa, SM Store Aura, SM Store Megamall, SM Store Southmall, and SM Store Estancia.

Signature bags get a makeover

Italian leather goods company Tod’s launches its new lineup of top-handle handbags featuring the revision of the iconic pattern inspired by the imprint of the house’s famed Gommino loafer.

Tod’s new top-handle bags feature creative director Walter Chiapponi’s reinterpretation of the house’s iconic pattern.
New creative director Walter Chiapponi’s reinterpretation of an icon sees a loosening of the signature pattern, giving space for the natural quality of the leather to breathe and shine, while retaining and celebrating the circular pebble motif that echoes the base of the Gommino.

Anchored by the signature timeless T buckle, discreetly settled at the flap opening, the Matelassé texture is retained, but infused with an attitude that marries sophistication and nonchalant chic.

Tod’s is located at Greenbelt 4, Rustan’s Shangri-La, and Shangri-La Plaza.
