QCPD bags Best Police District award, 8 unit and individual citations

The Quezon City Police District was adjudged as the Best Police District and also bagged eight other unit and individual awards during the 119th Police Service Anniversary Celebration in Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City.

No less than the Chief of the Philippine National Police, PGen Archie Francisco F Gamboa, and National Capital Region Police Office Director PMGen Debold M Sinas presented the much-coveted awards, said QCPD Director, PBGen. Ronnie S Montejo.

Montejo said the QCPD also bagged the following unit awards: 

• Best Unit for their Accomplishment in Project Double Barrel (Police District Level), 

• Kamuning Police Station (PS 10) as Best Unit for their Accomplishment in Project Double Barrel (Numbered Police Station Level) and as Best Numbered Police Station,

• Recognition for the Unit with the Most Number of Firearms Confiscated (Police District Level), 

• Payatas PCP of Batasan Police Station (PS 6) as Best Police Community Precinct. 

Meanwhile, the following individual awards were presented to PLtCol. Teresita V Escamillan as Best Junior Police Commissioned Officer for Administration, PCpl. Mark Anthony R Rigor as the Best Junior Police Non-Commissioned Officer for Administration, and NUP Willy Meneses Santos for Best Non-Uniformed Personnel (Supervisory Level).

“We share these awards and accolades to the people of Quezon City whom we continue to serve and protect. May these awards also continue to remind and inspire us in always doing our job to the highest level of performance,” PBGen Montejo said.
