Record high

A Gat. Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center maintenance worker sweeps excess water brought by the rain at a parking lot converted into an extension of the hospital in Tondo, Manila. The Department of Health reported a single day record high of 6,352 coronavirus positive cases in the country,  bringing the total to 112,593 cases on Tuesday, August 4. The latest DOH data also showed that almost half or 3,139 of the new reported cases were from Metro Manila. This too is also the highest single-day spike in the capital region.
