Dulay was part of three volleyball champion teams with Far Eastern University in the 1990s before becoming a coach.

He later called the shots for the De La Salle University men’s volleyball squad and won two titles in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines in 2001 and 2003.

Dulay also handled the women’s squads of University of the Philippines and Letran. He returned to the Green Spikers in 2014, but his stint lasted until 2016 after finishing with 4-8 win-loss record in Season 78.

Dulay served as assistant coach for the Philippine women’s volleyball team under Ramil De Jesus in the 2005 Southeast Asian Games.

That was the team that won a bronze medal.

He was assistant to Francis Vicente in the 2017 edition of the biennial meet.
