Angeles City—Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. is opening the One Town One Product (OTOP) Shop Angeles City souvenir center to all Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), local producers, and local manufacturers free of charge.

Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel said the initiative aims to help local businesses recover from the impact of COVID-19 as well as to promote local products with a campaign “Pasal-one, Angeleno pa!”

Manuel said local merchants can register via a link provided on the OTOP Angeles City Store Facebook page.

The application form should be filled out through the link, which will automatically be submitted to the Angeles City Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office (ACEDIPO). They can also contact phone numbers 0923-4247320 and 0997-3102202, she added.

Manuel also said the Department of Trade and Industry will also distribute business starter kits to identified beneficiaries in the city as part of the Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay program.

ACEDIPO OIC Irish Bonus-Llego said local merchants just need to submit their barangay permit. Food enterprises should also provide their certification from the Food and Drug Administration, she added.

The Negosyo Center located at Robinsons Starmills will be transferred to the OTOP center, Llego said.

The center is located along Nepomuceno Street in Barangay Sto. Rosario. It is open Monday to Sunday from 8 am to 5 pm. Butch Gunio
