Class act

It’s supposed to be a male-dominated world but this time, the females have emerged on top of the heap.

Genalyn D. Sugui of Isabela is valedictorian of the Philippine Military Academy Class ‘Masidlawin’ while Lei Anne Banico Palermo of Zamboanga City tops the Philippine National Police Academy ‘Mandayug’ Class.

The Baguio City-based PMA and the Cavited-based PNPA held their respective graduation rites yesterday. Sugui becomes the sixth female gradute-valedictorian of the country’s premier military institution.
