MVP Group helps Bacoor residents rebuild from fire tragedy

Amid the unfolding COVID-19 pandemic, nearly 3,000 individuals were rendered homeless by the fire that hit a residential area in Wawa Uno, Zapote 5, Bacoor City, Cavite in the early morning of March 23.

Tulong Kapatid, the corporate social responsibility group of companies, foundations, and affiliates under Manuel V. Pangilinan's leadership, reached out to the displaced families in Bacoor City, and donated 500 Liters of 70% ethyl alcohol.

With Bacoor recently placed on quarantine for having three confirmed COVID-19 cases, the donation will help families to stay safe.

One Meralco Foundation also donated 300 packs of relief goods to the Bacoor local government unit for the families victimized by the fire, while Maynilad provided 30 sacks of rice and 1,000 pieces of bottled water.

Tulong Kapatid facilitates efforts in the field of disaster preparedness and response, education, and community building.
