The offices at the provincial capitol complex in Alabel town were disinfected using compression sprayers and misting machines to neutralize bacteria or viruses in the environment to prevent the spread of the disease.

According to Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon, the undertaking is in line with President Rodrigo Duterte’s Proclamation No. 922 declaring a State of Public Health Emergency throughout the Philippines.

Solon encouraged other local government units in Region 12 to also conduct localized initiatives, with the participation of various sectors, households, academe, and national line agencies.
