Property developer Cathay Land expects its industrial park in Cavite to continue growing as various locators gravitate towards the Cavite-Laguna-Batangas (CALABA) corridor due to the massive infrastructure developments in the region. These include big-ticket infrastructure projects such as the Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX) and Cavite-Tagaytay-Batangas Expressway (CTBEX). Stretching 47 kilometers, CALAX aims to link SLEX-Mamplasan Interchange to CAVITEX in Kawit, Cavite. Jeffrey Ng, President of Cathay Land, remains bullish for the developer’s flagship industrial park development. Cathay Land plans to continues to expand its Cavite Light Industrial Park (CLIP) development located in the heart of Silang. “The strong interest that Cavite Light Industrial Park is getting from investors is really pushing us to roll out more lots to meet the rising demand,” Ng said.
