Designers hone talents to a bright sheen via AYDA tilt

Nippon Paint, Asia Young Designer Awards

The Nippon Paint Asia Young Designer Awards (AYDA) Philippines 2019 recently granted special recognitions to budding innovators. The competition seeks to motivate interior design and architecture students to incorporate both creativity and innovation in their designs. It  serves as a venue for the aspirants to hone their skills and establish connections with key industry players and fellows. For the Interior Design Category, San Carlos University in Cebu City student Abigail Florence Taghoy bagged gold, while De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) School of Design and Arts (SDA) Interior Design student Clarice Limsui,earned silver. The panel of judges was comprised of industry experts with support from the country’s leading professional organizations namely the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP), Council of Deans and Heads of Architecture Schools in the Philippines (CODHASP), Philippine Institute of Interior Designers (PIID), and the Council of Interior Design Educators (CIDE).
