Half of the forty candidates of Bb. Pilipinas 2020 search threw their hats in the Miss Talent competition held at the New Frontier Theater on Valentine’s Day. Ticket sales proceeds went to the Philippine Red Cross. A Red Gala fashion show was also held featuring all 40 candidates wearing red gowns by Filipino designers.
Some of the outstanding performances were Arianne Deseree Viardo’s ballet dance, and Alexangela Salvador and Maria Ruth Erika Quin’s exquisite painting skills. Shanon Tampon’s dramatic monologue, Francesca Taruc’s declamation piece, and Danica Acuna’s puppeteering were also a hit. Vianca Marcelo performed magic tricks and Anna Thea Cenarosa did a dribbling show.
Singing abilities abound this year with Princess Ann Guanzon, Justine Felizarta, Jashmin Dimaculangan, and Mercedes Pair.
Dancing prowess was seen in candidates Samantha Panlilio, Rowena Sasuluya, Lois Anne Badando, Meiji Cruz, Hazel Joy Ortiz, Alexandra Rosales, Noriza Valerio, and Alexandra Garcia.
The show was hosted by Emma Mary Tinglao and Prince de Guzman. Sitting as judges were reigning Binibinis Gazini Ganados, Patch Magtanong, Resham Saeed and Aya Abesamis with last year’s Miss Talent winner Cassandra Chan. Winner of Miss Talent will be known during the grand coronation night on April 26.
