“The city government will not be lenient with traffic violators to ensure order in the streets and also safety of people, including drivers,” he said.

The apprehension report of the Angeles City Traffic Development Office (ACTDO) showed that fines collection from traffic violations garnered their highest numbers yet in 2018 and 2019.

This is followed by impounded motor vehicles with total fines of P277,500 last year, and towed vehicles with total fines of P53,200 last year, as against P58,700 combined for 2018.
