Megawide sets sights on two projects in Cubao

Cubao, Quezon City—Infrastructure company Megawide and housing developer 8990 Holdings, Inc. recently broke ground  for Urban Deca Towers Cubao, a 45-storey building which will use the former’s precast and formworks technologies for high-quality finish and faster construction times. 

At the same time, the engineering conglomerate also partnered with developer Araneta Center Inc. (ACI), to top off the New Gateway mall  at a height of 31.31 meters.

Urban Deca Towers is located on EDSA corner Mayor Ignacio Santos Diaz St., within close proximity to the MRT-3 Cubao Station and LRT-2 Araneta Center Cubao Station. The towers are comprised of residential units, with commercial units on ground and second levels. 

Megawide is currently undertaking the construction of Urban Deca Homes Manila, in Tondo, Manila City, and Urban Deca Homes Ortigas, along Ortigas Extension, Pasig City.

The New Gateway mall, located along General Roxas Avenue, will be a 7-storey building with structural elements, such as beams, slabs, and walls, also built with a combination of Megawide’s precast and formwork technologies.

Megawide previously built Cyberpark 1 and 2 and the New Frontier theatre for ACI. 

The company is also building the adjacent ibis Styles Hotel for ACI, the first in the country.

Megawide has been behind  infrastructure projects such as the Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA) and the Paranaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX).
