M Lhuillier, one of the country’s largest and most respected non-bank financial institutions, remains firm in its corporate social responsibility and environmental protection programs as it recently turned over a Materials Recovery Facility in Brooke’s Point, Palawan.
Despite the challenging weather in the province, MLhuillier officials travelled at least four hours from Puerto Princesa City to Brooke’s Point for the actual turnover of the facility to the Maquina B. Tunggal Elementary School.
The MRF will maximize the number of recyclables processed while producing materials that will generate the highest possible revenues in the market.
This is one of the required facilities in every school that aims to teach students how to properly segregate garbage and waste.
The Lhuillier team also distributed some giveaways that included ML Pack Bag, ML T-shirts, ML Eco bag, and ML Ballpens to the students and teachers.
