Modern-day Filipino heroes

The Philippines is a nation of heroes, from patriots who fought for the country’s independence to those regular individuals on the street helping better the lives of other people and the society.

As a proof, there’s plenty of heroes here at home, fashion brand Uniqlo Philippines introduces its Future Heroes—10 local game-changers and innovators who help move Manila forward.

Future Heroes is part of the retailer’s Our Future Is Here campaign, launched prior to the opening of the first Uniqlo flagship store in the Philippines at Glorietta mall in Makati on Oct. 5.

The campaign draws a parallel among Uniqlo products, its brand values, and the character of Manila. It is a city that is full of life, diverse, and always moving forward—characteristics that align perfectly to the brand and its LifeWear.

Through the social media nominations that ran from June to July, the global apparel retailer identified and collaborated with some of Manila’s most promising individuals and groups from a range of industries and backgrounds.
