Cocktail concoctions and spiked desserts that are sure to intrigue taste buds are available at the newly opened Fundador Café, the first-ever concept store of Spain’s largest and oldest brandy company in the Philippines.
Featuring a sophisticated cocktail bar ambiance in a modest 50-square-meter store, it offers a wide list of unique drinks and pastries spiked with brandy and Sherry wines.
“The Fundador Café was launched with the Filipino millennials in mind,” says Emperador Inc. executive director Kendrick Tan. “It’s the Philippines’ first concept store where customers can indulge in a variety of beverages and cupcakes infused with liquor while shopping from rare and exclusive collections of Fundador.”
Harveys Bristol Cream—a sherry wine produced in Jerez, Spain—adds a clean, fruity with subtle spiciness, and velvety smooth flavor to the four “sinful” cupcakes, namely Sherry Butter Cupcake, Banana Cupcake, ChocolateCupcake, and Vanilla Butter Cupcake, on offer. The spiked pastries are also topped with Harveys Dark Chocolate Ganache for an extra kick of alcohol.
Bottles of Harveys Bristol Cream are also sold exclusively at Fundador Café.
“Everyone who steps inside the café will be welcomed by a wide array of Fundador selections, including the exclusive Harveys wines that are sold only at the store, along with other branded merchandise, like T-shirts, bags, umbrellas, glasses, caps, key chains, and others,” says Tan.
Beverages on the menu come in hot, cold, and blended, and are mixed with either Fundador or Harveys Bristol Cream.
For hot drinks, the store serves Fundador Café Latte, made of premium espresso mixed with Fundador Gold Reserve and the classic Fundador Solera; Café Exclusivo, is an exquisite blend of coffee and Fundador Exclusivo brandy; and Double Salted Caramel, which is mixed with Fundador Double Light.
Perfect for summer are the cold beverage options, that include Light Iced Tea with a shot of Fundador Light; Café Solera, made of premium roast coffee and a shot of Fundador Solera; and Harveys Mojito, which features the sweet and refreshing taste of lemon, mint, and Harveys.
Those who would like to opt for blended drinks can choose from Orange Passion, a sweet soda based drink blended with Harveys Bristol Cream; Fundador Frappe, an ice swirl of espresso infused with Fundador Gold Reserve and Fundador Solera; and Matcha Light, a sweet, creamy vanilla blend of matcha and Fundador Light.
According to Tan, Fundador Café also serves gelato mixed with Harveys Bristol Cream.
“We highly recommend that customers try out our Amara Dark Chocolate or Dulce De Leche because either of those will surely tickle your taste buds,” says Tan.
