Beginning tomorrow, GMA Network gives its loyal viewers another one-of-a-kind entertainment. Its a comedy game show entitled People vs. The Stars.
The program allows celebrities to play for a chance to win P200, 000.00 by answering eight mind-boggling questions each with a cash value.
If the stars failed to answer any of the questions correctly, the question’s cash value would be awarded to televiewers that answered the “People Question of the Week” through text.
Thrilling and fun-filled, the show features the tandem of the multi-talented celebrity power-couple Drew Arellano and Iya Villania-Arellano.
As a first-time mom, Iya says this show takes away her anxiety whenever she is not with Primo, hers and Drew’s first born.
“Actually, this is the first time I will be hosting this kind of show na makulit and entertaining. Natutuwa ako kasi I consider this my rest whenever I am not on my ‘mommy duties’ kay Primo kasi nakakatawa lang talaga dito. It’s as if I don’t work. Plus kasama ko pa asawa ko, so yung fun talaga nandoon,” she said.
On the other hand, Drew is equally excited working with her wife in this game show.
“Excited ako kasi iba itong show na ito for us kasi more enjoyable and light environment. Hindi siya yung acting like sa mga shows namin 10 years ago. Dito mas makikita nila kung sino kami inside our house, ganun lang talaga,” he said.
Don’t miss the chance to bond with your favorite Kapuso stars and turn family days into mind-boggling and exciting days in People vs. The Stars every Sunday at 5 to 6 p.m. beginning tomorrow on GMA.

Karla Estrada looks back to her past and shares her own life story, with Angelica Panganiban in MMK tonight.
It is not a secret to many that before being known as the “Queen Mother,” Karla had gone through a lot of struggles in life.
She used to enjoy a life of a wealthy family until her grandfather, the one who provided for their family, suddenly died. This forced her family to move from a private subdivision to the city proper in Tacloban.
Despite the hardships in life, Karla remained determined to reach her dream of becoming a big star. She joined singing contests despite the strong disapproval of her mother, who urged her to stop from competing to avoid criticism.
Karla carried on with her singing until her efforts paid off when she luckily got discovered in a music hub in Quezon City. She was then invited to join That’s Entertainment, unexpectedly skyrocketed to fame, and while at the top her career, got pregnant with her first child.
Also playing important roles are Alexa Ilacad, Sharmaine Suarez, Carlos Morales, JhaiHo, Cheska Billiones, and Roy Requejo.
MMK airs Saturdays on ABS-CBN or ABS-CBN HD (SkyCable ch 167).
