FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. and the world’s largest express transportation company, in collaboration with Junior Achievement Philippines (JA), will send the country’s top delegates to represent the Philippines at the FedEx/Junior Achievement International Trade Challenge (ITC) in Hong Kong on Aug. 7 to 11.

The FedEx /JA ITC is an annual competition that aims to educate high school students on the fundamentals of entrepreneurship and instill a global business mindset.

Ten teams from eight schools qualified to compete in the local finals, where they presented their business plans to a judging panel led by John Peterson, managing director of FedEx Express for Philippines, Indonesia, and Brunei.  The panel also included Dodgie Perdigon, sales manager at FedEx Express Philippines and Mylene Abiva, president and CEO of Felta Multimedia Inc.
