After almost two years of retreating online due to the COVID-19 pandemic, designer brands are back on the runway to celebrate Paris Fashion Week. And who else do we expect to see in one of the events of the season than Kapuso actress and socialite Heart Evangelista?
Heart treated her fans on Instagram (@iamhearte) with a series of pictures and videos that documented her return to Paris. The first video she posted on Sunday showed her donning the signature Dior look that features a neutral turtleneck, a dramatic dress, and a matching blazer paired with high-fashion head accessories and a handbag.
The actress then proceeded to open the balcony doors in her room to reveal that she was back in Paris and how ecstatic she was to be. Indeed, she looked tres chic in her head-to-toe Dior ensemble while eating a croissant.
Returning to Paris wasn’t the only surprise that Heart had in store in that video. She also announced that she’s now officially part of French fashion house Dior.
“Ecstatic to spend my time here in Paris with a brand that has always been close to my heart. Merci @dior, for making me part of your ever-growing family!” she said in another video of her dressing up in a matching vibrant skirt and blazer from Dior.
Heart wasted no time taking Paris by attending fashion shows, each in a stylish outfit that she prepared herself. She kept the pieces organized by placing them in Ziploc bags according to their brand and how she planned to wear them. Other fashion brands that she donned include Hermès, Chanel, Tony Ward, and Balmain.
On her first day in Paris Fashion Week, Heart chose a Chanel ensemble. Her outfit of choice was a black two-piece pant set that she made even more stunning by adding Chanel accessories like a belt, chain, crossbody bag, and clutch.
Like many fashion icons, Heart isn’t afraid to play around with her clothing by layering them on top of each other. Not only does it add to her overall flair, but it also keeps her warm amid the Paris winter.
On Tuesday, the actress chose a Louis Vuitton outfit that consisted of pants, a black turtleneck, a bright pink striped sweater, a pastel yellow vest, and high-heeled boots. She showed her quick transformation through a video on Instagram, where she also joked that despite not having a glam team, her 24 years of experience in taping helped her change quickly from one look to the next.
Although Heart enjoyed her solo trip to Paris for Fashion Week, she shared that the highlight of her trip was the Dior event. The French fashion house welcomed her with open arms by giving her VIP treatment and the chance to be featured alongside other celebrities like Rosamund Pike and Cara Delevingne.
Still, Heart relished the chance to attend Haute couture events in what she calls her first trip as an independent woman.
The actress also took the time to visit some tourist spots and enjoy French cuisine, still in head-turning outfits from luxury fashion brands. Oh, how we would love to be in her shoes (or clothes in this case).
