On March 19, thousands of professional and amateur runners will be in Los Angeles to join the prestigious LA Marathon. In the run up to the upcoming event, its title partner Skerchers Performance has launched three pairs of running shoes that let wearers “Go like never before.”
The latest releases all feature Skechers Performance’s Mid-foot Strike or M-Strike technology that reduces the impact of heel striking and enhances the natural running performance of runners by positioning the body for a mid-foot strike. The middle of the foot strikes the ground first and transitions to forefoot for immediate toe off.
Go for speed with GORun 5
The fifth generation of Skechers GORun series is designed for speed and comfort. To safeguard the runner’s multi-surface traction to stay grounded on track, GORun 5 has Skechers’s GoKnit upper that provides security while maintaining breathability and comfort.
Go for durability with GORun Forza 2
The new GORun Forza 2 is designed with added support to enhance the running experience. It has lightweight and responsive 5GEN cushioned midsole and a Mid-foot Strike Zone that promotes efficiency in each stride.
Each pair also has a molded heel strap counter and integrated support strap in its midfoot, providing stability and security to the wearer. Forza 2’s two-part outsole, meanwhile, provides smooth transition for durability and traction.
Go for stability with GORun Ride 6
With the joint technology of Mid-foot Strike zone and GOimpulse Sensors, GORun Ride 6 allows the wearer to have a smoother transition and optimized running experience. Further, these running shoes have lateral and medial support that offers stability and breathability that are both needed for short and long runs.
