It was a relaxing and therapeutic late afternoon massage. Her magical hands were gliding from my shoulder blades down to my lower back hitting the right points with varying levels of pressure. Instead of piped-in music, the background sound was coming from the birds perched on the trees in the area. Not so distant was the sound of the waves crashing against the shore.

Sunset massage by the beach, care of highly trained in-house therapists, is just one of the many relaxing experiences one can indulge in at The Auhana Boracay – a premier boutique beachfront resort and spa hotel where your vacation feels like home, a luxurious home that is.

Auhana’s otherexclusive amenities also include a tranquility pool, sunset dipping pool, games room, and mini theater

While it feels like being treated not just as a guest but also as a family member, it’s good to note that their attentive and amiable staff ensures that they meet your needs and expectations. You would immediately experience their hospitality the moment they pick you up at the Catliclan airport. After all, “auhana” is a Filipino take on a Polynesian term “ohana” that means family.

Nestled at the idyllic seven-hectare hilly estate, this luxury hotel is located at the less crowded Station 3. And coming from the jetty port – after being shuttled by their speed yacht – going to Auhana is just a five-minute ride. You see, the resort hotel’s imposing facade – which architecture combines modern and traditional elements – is hard to miss whether it’s your destination or not.

The Auhana has the longest private beach in Boracay

The expansive resort hotel, also the biggest on the island, has a total of 500 rooms housed in nine five-story buildings. The 14 accommodation categories range from Deluxe Room to Beachfront Family Villa all perfectly maintained and furnished by items kept in its 35 storage rooms spread out in the exclusive property.

Despite the land area of The Auhana, getting around the property is no stress. You can even tour the entire resort easily with its five vintage golf carts that can pick you up and take you to different areas within the beach property. Talk about going around in style.

Most tourists go to Boracay to explore the island. At The Auhana, you can experience all the things that the world-famous island has to offer without leaving the gated property.

For fitness buffs, Auhana has a fully functional gym with a dedicated onsite trainer. The young ones can spend the whole afternoon at the Kids Club and make sweet quality time with the whole family. Parents can easily ask hotel staff for activities prepared for the kids. There’s also the Kids’ Courtyard at the main building where young guests can enjoy more recreational activities.

One of the premier deluxe rooms

Guests no longer need to go to D’Mall since the hotel has its own gift shop which is the ideal place for them to take a piece of Boracay home. There they can even get their daily beach essentials like sunscreen, shades, and straw bags.

A blockbuster hit at The Auhana, is the Filipino Folk Dance and Fire Dance shows. On other nights, diners will be serenaded by acoustic singers who would be willing to sing any requested songs.

Auhana’s five dining venues offer exquisite menus to satisfy guests

Exquisite and seasonally inspired menus are available at five Auhana dining venues located cliffside or beachfront. Its main restaurant – The Porch – is the perfect spot to chill any time of the day. It offers Filipino beach fare and signature cocktails that blend well with the scene-stealing landscape. Its best sellers? Moringa soup and Chicken Hinalang – chicken cooked in coconut milk with chili, mixed with onion, ginger, and peppercorns.

Also a romantic destination, many couples have chosen Boracay as a wedding destination. The Auhana has its own chapel. Perfectly located on a hill – for an iconic wedding ceremony – the charming edifice is a stunning multi-faith venue with lush gardens and romantic ocean views.

Vintage golf carts are available to use to tour the area

The Auhana’s other exclusive amenities also include a tranquility pool, sunset dipping pool, games room, and mini theater.

And what is Boracay without the beach where you can enjoy swimming and do water activities or just lounge all day, then watch the sunset?

The Auhana chapel is a suitable destination for weddings

The Auhana has the longest private beach on the entire island. The 330-meter coast fronting the property awaits any guests who would want to experience the island without leaving their hotel.
