A giant bear topiary adds holiday cheer to the SM Mall of Asia Atrium.

A giant teddy bear topiary surrounded by blooming poinsettias hugs a stack of red Christmas balls to celebrate the love and joy Christmas brings at the SM Mall of Asia Atrium. Inspired by a classic European English labyrinth garden, the mall’s Christmas centerpiece has picturesque winding paths that filled with poinsettias flower beds, huge bear-shaped topiaries, and timeless giant Nutcracker figures. It is highlighted by a 60-foot giant Christmas tree dazzling with gold Christmas balls and berries accented with 40,000 color-changing LED lights.

ABOUT US

Manila Standard

Manila Standard website (manilastandard.net), launched in August 2002, extends the newspaper’s reach beyond its traditional readers and makes its brand of Philippine news and opinion available to a much wider and geographically diverse readership here and overseas.

Digital Edition

In tone and content, the online edition mirrors the editorial thrust of the newspaper. While hewing to the traditional precepts of fairness and objectivity, MS believes the news of the day need not be staid, overly long or dry. Stories are succinct, readable and written in a lively style that has become a hallmark of the newspaper.
